“ We had our wedding and reception at the Highlands Country Club. We always loved the food at the adjacent Tavern Restaurant but when we went in to meet with their wedding planner Jennifer, we were sold. The venue is gorgeous and includes a beautiful lawn area (where we had the ceremony), a veranda (where we had the cocktail reception) and a great room with fireplaces on each end (where we had the main reception). We also bought out the Tavern Restaurant and used it as a lounge during the whole thing. Jennifer was unbelievably responsive during the stressful months leading up to the wedding. She was always there for us. She was even better on the big day, taking care of every little detail so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was as good as always, with celebrity chef (he gets great write-ups in all sorts of magazines and newspapers) Eric taking care of business in the kitchen. We love the food so much we go there for dinner when we can. Our wedding day was fantastic and we can't thank the Highlands Country Club enough.”

The high ceiling, abundant glass, and enormous fireplaces at either end of the room make the venue grand. It is on an active golf course, but the physical location and organization give the impression your group is the only party on site. We are so very happy we found this beautiful location in the Hudson Valley. The team and the location are unbeatable for a wedding reception!”
